I can’t tell if this is seriously art or if it’s just tongue in cheek sarcastic art or if it’s post-ironic ironic art, or ironic art, or literally just a joke and that is so not okay.

Your Honor, there is a clear contradiction in this photo.
As you can see from this piece of evidence, Gatorade bottles are topped with an orange lid.
But in the photo above, the lids are black. Which means that the bottles in this photo can’t be Gatorade bottles.
Mr. Wright, didn’t you go to art school? I sure didn’t, but I still know what happens when you mix orange and blue!

In the modern age, with the advent of GPS in addition to the abundance of mass-produced globes and maps, the art of globe making has fallen by the wayside. Only two workshops in the world still make handcrafted globes; one of them is us….. Bellerby & Co. Globemakers, a studio based in Stoke Newington, London.
Founded by Peter Bellerby in 2008, the artisan studio was born when Bellerby struggled to find a quality globe for his father’s 80th birthday present. Faced with a choice between a cheaply made modern globes or a fragile, expensive antique model, Bellerby decided to spend a few months and a few thousand pounds making his own, instead. The process turned out to be more complicated, costly, and time-intensive than he thought, eventually leading to the creation of his own globe-making studio.
Now, we have a small team of dedicated Globe-makers constructing high-quality, handmade, artisan globes that are as much works of art as they are scientific instruments. From the stand, to the painting, to the mapmaking, each piece is expertly crafted in-house using traditional and modern globe-making techniques.

painting, which reveals its color only when wet. This amazing and
clever project was designed by a Korean team of designers, in
collaboration with Pantone, to provide color to the streets of Seoul
during the rainy season, while paying tribute to the Korean culture. A

Inspired by a recent experience I had with someone stealing my art and cropping out my URL.

when i was 12 i babysat this girl for a few years and she would come to me and show me her art, drag me by my wrists and point at the pieces she’d made during the week. and she’d be like “do the voice” and i’d put on a sports-announcer olympics-style voice and be like “such form! this level of coloring! why i haven’t seen such perfection in crayola in a long time. and what is this? why jeff, now this is a true risk… it seems she’s made … a monochrome pink canvas…. i haven’t seen this attempted since winter 1932… and i gotta say, jeff, it’s absolutely splendid” and she’d fall back giggling. at the end of every night she’d check with me: “did you really like it?” and i’d say yes and talk about something i noticed and tucked her in.
she was just accepted into 3 major art schools. she wrote me a letter. inside was a picture from when she was younger. monochrome pink.
“thank you,” it said, “to somebody who saw the best in me.”
